Cable Scarf- August 2016: Moss Stitch Diamonds

Moss Stitch Diamonds Cable Knit Scarf and Gigi Giraf
Skill Level: Intermediate
Materials used: 200g Acrylic yarn , 4.5mm needles, and cable needle.
Abbreviations:
- K, P: knit, purl.
- 2/2 LC: Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in front, K2, then K2 from cable needle.
- 2/2 RC: Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in back, K2, then K2 from cable needle.
- 2/1 LPC: Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in font, P1, then K2 from cable needle.
- 2/1 RPC: Slip st to cable needle and hold in back, K2, then P1 from cable needle.
SCARF PATTERN
Cast on 38 stitches.
Border.
Row 1: K5, p2, k2, (p1, k1) 5 times, k4, p1, k3, p6, k5.
Row 2: K3, p2, k6, p3, k1, p5, (k1, p1) 5 times, p1, k2, p2, k3.
Repeat Rows 1- 2 three times more.

All even number rows: K3, knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches, k3
