Materials used.
Bernat Super Value Stripes yarn (1 skein) and Caron Simple Soft yarn (1 skein)
US 6 circular needle.
Techniques used:
- K, P: Knit, purl
- Sl1yof (slip 1, yarn  over, yarn to front): With working yarn in front, slip the next stitch purlwise, then bring the yarn over the needle (and over the slipped stitch) then back to the front and under the needle in position to purl the following stitch.
- Brk (brioche knit - also known as a bark): This is the brioche version of a basic knit stitch, and it is as easily worked as a k2tog. With yarn at the back of the work, insert right needle tip knitwise into both a stitch and its companion yarnover. Work together as one knit stitch.
Pattern.
With color A, cast 200 stitches onto the circular needle.
Color A, knit 4 rounds
Pearl Brioche stitch pattern
Round 1: Color B, * P1, sl1yof, repeat from * to end of round.
Round 2: Color A, * K1, brk1, repeat from * to end.
Round 3: Color B, * Sl1yof, p1, repeat from * to end.
Round 4: Color A, * Brk1, k1, repeat from * to end.
Repeat Rounds 1-4 until you have reached your desired length.
Color A, knit 3 rounds and bind - off loosely.
